Q. What is the minimum accommodation fee for the Shinjuku Ogikubo?
A. Starting from ¥5,980 1 night (tax included), this is the lowest price range within the Anshin oyado Group. Regular capsule rooms start from ¥5,980 for the upper bunk and ¥6,080 for the lower bunk. The price includes all in-house services such as the large public bath, sauna (tent sauna and mist sauna), breakfast curry, late-night ramen, and drink bar in the lounge.
Q. Why do the prices vary from day to day?
A. Accommodation rates vary daily depending on booking availability and time of year (long weekends, New Year's holidays, Golden Week, Obon, etc.). The displayed price is an estimate of the lowest price; please check the actual price by specifying your date on the booking calendar on our official website. Booking through our official website guarantees the lowest price.
Q. What are the check-in and check-out times? What does "maximum 27-hour stay" mean?
A. Check-in is at 12:00 and check-out is at 15:00, allowing for a maximum stay of 27 hours. Capsules and lockers are available until 12:00 on the day of check-out, while the lounge and bath area are available until 15:00. Capsules are normally available from 15:00, but those who book through the official website can use them from 12:00.
Q. If I want to stay past 12:00, how much will the extension fee be?
A. After 12:00, there is an extension fee of ¥165 (tax included) for every 15 minutes of use of capsule lockers. If you wish to use the lounge or bathing area after 12:00, please retrieve your belongings from the locker and inform the front desk. You may stay until 15:00.
Q. Is the Shinjuku Ogikubo for women only?
A. The Shinjuku Ogikubo is a capsule hotel exclusively for women. Male guests should use the men-only Shinjuku, Akihabara, or Shimbashi Station Nagoya, which has separate floors for men and women. There are conditions for use by those under 18 years of age and those with tattoos, so please check the official FAQ page.
Q. Can I use the baths and sauna only for a day trip without staying overnight?
A. The Shinjuku Ogikubo does not offer day-trip bathing plans. If you wish to use only the baths and saunas on a day trip, please use one of the following stores, which do offer bathing plans: Shinjuku, Shimbashi Station, Akihabara, or Nagoya.
Q. How much is the night pack? Can I make a reservation?
A. The night pack at the Shinjuku Ogikubo is ¥6,180 (tax included) every day. The night pack is a plan exclusively for guests checking in after 23:00 and cannot be booked in advance. Please apply directly at the front desk after 23:00 on the day of your stay. Check-out is by 12:00 the following day. The price includes use of the bath, sauna, capsule hotel, and lounge facilities.
Q. Do you have any plans for long-term stays?
A. We offer a limited-time "Cap-Summer Plan."0 security deposit, key money, or utilities required. Meals, hot springs, and Wi-Fi are included. Prices start from ¥30,000 for 15 days, or ¥60,000 per month for 2 slots (30 days) (tax included). Due to limited room availability, availability may vary depending on booking status.
Q. Are there any times when the baths or saunas are unavailable?
A. The bath area and mist sauna are unavailable daily from 12:00 to 15:00 PM and from 2:00 10:00 to 16:00 for cleaning. The tent sauna is unavailable from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for cleaning. Additionally, the baths and saunas are unavailable every Thursday from 12:00 to 16:00 for equipment maintenance.
Q. Can groups of 10 or more people or corporations use the facilities?
A. For groups of 10 to 50 people, the rate starts from ¥5,980 1 person. For groups of 51 or more, please inquire for a quote. We can accommodate corporate training, club activities, alumni gatherings, year-end parties, etc., and floor rentals and separate floors for men and women are also available. The full accommodation fee must be paid as a deposit 1 month prior to your scheduled stay. Rates are subject to change depending on booking availability and season.
Q. When do cancellation fees start to apply?
A. For reservations of 1 to 9 people, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged for no-shows, and a 50% cancellation fee will be charged for same-day cancellations. For group reservations of 10 or more people, please refer to Appendix 1 of the Accommodation Terms and Conditions.
Q. What payment methods are accepted?
